adieu

in the unfortunate instance that you quite regularly deprive yourself of bras and ranties’ twitter madness, you’ll have missed this. you see late last night we were compelled to send a tweet out into the world. it was the prose of cs lewis. declaring and romanticizing the tragic presence of the artist.

if i find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that i was made for another world.
we find the timing a rather eery coincidence considering the consequential loss the world of fashion/art was about to hear grandiose rumblings of. alexander mcqueen. alexander the great.
our (very) personal belief is that a person has the right to choose when to depart, if they so decide; everything else to do with the body left in our control (and for many, left to their bank balance) why not the final act? the greatest caveat. the many humans amongst us lost in the depth, breathing thick air of despair. convinced by darkness that there’s no way out. that there’s no hope left. when there is.
but what of the artist blessed with vision? to share with the world. perhaps from another world. his creations transforming the human to his true archetype. can we believe he told us all his stories, spilled his genius over empty? we could’ve used more of it.
off you go. find peace.

He chose to leave to be with someone who did not have the luxury of choosing her time. RIP
