the vintage gods have been smiling upon bras and ranties for weeks now, with last week’s bike ride yielding a suprising detour @ soon to be opened vintage shop madam – details to come. here we scored an oversized silk print nicole miller scarf; a blood red chinese silk wedding robe; and sheer black accordian pants. oooh la.
such was the same this past saturday, when a boozy brunch @ the drake led to a vintage 69 extravaganza.
certainly a bras and ranties fave, we almost always find a thing or two while browsing the store. but this day was a charmed sort of day indeed. not only did we pull a 60s halter column dress for a friend, we also picked up the following: leopard print oscar de la renta blouse (with shoulder pads!); a black silk dress (with shoulder pads!); a grey cape (yes!); and (la piece de resistance) a rabbit-fur motorcycle jacket. the most amazing jacket of our entire life.
the best part was the bill. $180. huzzah!
