by now you’ve all heard of bing, microsoft’s latest example of their utter ignorance.

already desperate to remain relevant, microsoft has decided to go head to head with a digital zeitgeist. word is, projected advertising spend is (pinkies up) one hundred million dollars.

i remain completely flabbergasted as to why this organization has chosen to invest such a substantial amount of dollars in a copycat dud. it’s msn search reskinned, and still completely devoid of user experience. so why wouldn’t they direct that money toward investing in understanding, ideas and innovation? especially at such a crucial time.

bras and ranties boos.
for the record, each time i try and type ‘bing’ my fingers type ‘binge’. too many years at private school i suppose.
