last week (okay, a fortnight) bras and ranties attended quite a soiree, hosted by shoe-palace davids to celebrate of a group of toronto women leveraging their influence, resources (and hella style) to make a difference and build businesses. friendly faces were honored that evening, including the society’s ashleigh and amanda and gee beauty’s natalie.
and the ladies brought it, with sweet styling and killer loubs (on the feet and not enough on the shelves. cater to your audience, but would we ever love to see a ‘fierce’ line-up – oooh la!). it really was the perfect platform to celebrate and spend; fancy salesmen at your beck and call and the chance to win quite the discount while choosing to partake. bras and ranties, per usual, per heartbreak, left loub-less, though quite a few were much more lucky.
while we would’ve loved to learn of a proceeds/matching/donation program to honor the women’s charities (or somethin) we loved the idea of celebrating these awesome young things while surrounded by what makes a woman feel her feircest and her most empowered: the killer shoe.
brava, ladies. well-deserved.
check out the women who were honored here.
