um, how fucking cool is this?

check out the ink calendar, by spanish designer oscar diaz. as the days past, the capillary action of the paper (had to look it up) helps to spread the ink.

while it’s a beautiful piece for the wall, it’s also a gorgeously artful representation of time’s passing. we wonder if this is recreatable. fuck that would be a lot of work. le sigh.
