craving dear readers’ book recommendations, svp.

i’ve been reading a lot of lovely books – engaging characters and unique voices. but in general, they’ve been books that (while they may nudge) certainly don’t move me.

would love to hear some of your favies (either comment or email me@brasandranties.com ) so perhaps all of us can benefit from the special gems you’ve found.

merci!

by the ways, i hear some of you are having trouble commenting. i’m trying to deal, but we all know that i don’t know what i’m doing. please try again, or just email.

I enjoyed the "Elegance of the Hedgehog" – by Muriel Barbery. Also, "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant, and "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold made me cry – such a sweet sad story.
